(For passport holders from Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom)
- Enables those between the age of 18 – 30 to holiday and work in Australia for up to 12 months. (With the exception of Canadian, French and Irish Citizens who are permitted to be aged between 18 – 35 on application).
- Must provide evidence of:
– Good Health and Character
– Financial capacity to support the first stage of the trip
– Health/medical or travel insurance - Entitles the holder to work for up to 6 months with each employer and study for up to 4 months.
- This visa does not permit the holder to bring any dependent children to Australia.
- Holders may apply for a second working holiday visa if they have carried out specified paid work in a regional area of Australia for 3 months.
- Holders of the second working holiday visa may apply for a third working holiday visa if they have carried out specified paid work in a regional area of Australia for 6 months.
(For passport holders from Argentina, Austria, Chile, China, People’s Republic of, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Uruguay, Vietnam)
- Enables those between the age of 18 – 30 to holiday and work in Australia for up to 12 months.
- Must provide evidence of:
– Good Health and Character
– Financial capacity to support the first stage of the trip
– Health/medical or travel insurance
– Letter of support from Government if from an applicable country - Entitles the holder to work for up to 6 months with each employer and study for up to 4 months.
- This visa does not permit the holder to bring any dependent children to Australia.
- Holders may apply for a second working holiday visa if they have carried out specified paid work in a northern or regional area of Australia for 3 months.
- Holders of the second working holiday visa may apply for a third working holiday visa if they have carried out specified paid work in a northern or regional area of Australia for 6 months.
